Introduction OF Wood pellt mill/animal feed machine

Hochang Animal feed pellet mill is applied to sawdust, straw, chaff, bamboo shaving, peanut shells, bagasse, and alfalfa etc.

The pellet has two types. One is rotating die pellet mill (D type) with a rotating die and stationary rollers. The other one is rotating roller pellet mill (R type) with a stationary die and rotating rollers.

What are the differences between D type pellet mill and R type pellet mill?

D type literally is called rotating die type while R type is called rotating roller type. Mechanically, the prominent difference lies in motion pattern of die and roller, and transmission components. In terms of price, with the same configuration (capacity, power, etc.), D type pellet mill is cheaper than R type because the latter has smarter design of pelletizing process and a better gearbox, though both types of pellet mill are competent of making quality pellets.

Instead of rotating die plate, the two rollers are running around the central driven by the main shaft and simultaneously rotating themselves, adding a positive force to the raw material. With the given dual action, not only is the raw material well pressed, but also mixed. Thanks to the sturdy shaft, it easily resists the harder counterforce produced by hard wood and material suchlike, making R type therefore a wider material application range.

D type and R type pellet mill, which is suitable for me?

D type pellet mill is basically a standard version; it has a straight design and function to make quality biomass pellets from different material. D type is chosen by most starters.

While R type is pro version pellet mill which has a smarter die and roller movement profile and is using a superb gearbox. Better function, higher price. R type is the right choice for clients who have a strict requirements and flexible budget.
