1. If your raw material is big block, you should choose a crusher.

2. If your raw material is with high moisture (higher than 12%), you should choose a dryer. If you prefer to use dry powder type briquette machine, the moisture should be less than 5%, also based on materials’ performance.

3. Generally, it is better to add some binder/adhesive into the raw material. If you prefer to use dry powder type briquette machines, generally, no need binder.

4. About belt conveyor, you can buy from us, also can make by yourself. We would like to supply the detail drawing of conveyor for you.

5. The final briquettes can be dried under the sun or through mesh belt dryer and chain plate dryer.

1. Briquettes' size & shape: The briquettes can be designed of oval shape, elliptical shape, egg shape, pillow shape, square shape etc with different size based on customers' requirements. Generally, most customers prefer to make 40/50mm briquettes with elliptical shape.

2. Mechanical/hydraulic system: The briquette machine can be designed with mechanical system or hydraulic system based on customers' demand.
3. Feeding mouth of briquette machine: Generally, the briquetting press is equipped with the simple small silo at the top; we can also design the feeding mouth with screw feeding device based on materials' performance. 

Which material can be used for briquetting? 

Briquetting is the transformation of powdery or granular raw materials into a larger more convenient size with different shapes. This is accomplished by compacting the raw materials with the rollers pressing.

During briquetting, the raw materials such as coal fines, anthracite coal, bituminous coal, subbituminous coal, coke fines, carbon powder, charcoal powder, carbon black, iron ore fines, mineral powder, metal dust, iron dust, mill scale, manganese ore fines, fluorite powder, gypsum powder, chemical salt, ferrosilicon powder, nickel alloy, blast furnace ash, converter dust, MgO, graphite, oil shale, potash fertilizer, urea fertilizer, sea sand powder etc Should be added the binder for good forming effect. Bituminous coal briquette machine is widely used for recycling these materials with high economic profits.

The briquettes can be produced with high or low pressure and can undergo mechanical or thermal treatment according to the characteristics of the processed material, the binder used and the desired end product.
