Flotation machine Overview
1 Brief Introduction
Flotation is a process of separation and concentration based on differences in the chemical properties of interfaces. Flotation can take place either at a liquid–gas, a liquid–liquid, a liquid–solid or a solid–gas interfaces.
2. Structure info.(Including Base Materials)
The flotation cell is formed by bearing body ,hollow main shaft ,the impeller ,tank ,the center tube ,air distributor ,motor and so on .
Impeller material : High -resistance material
3. Features of flotation machine(Flocation cell)

1. Large inhaling capacity and low energy consumption;

2. Complete flotation circuit with inhaling air and pulp, no auxiliaries are needed;

3. Process is easy to be changed;

4. Reasonable circulation of pulp decreases coarse sand sedimentation;

5. Automatic controlling device makes adjustment more convenient. The impeller is rotated by V-belt of motor and produces centrifugal effect with negative pressure. Enough air is inhaled into mixed pulp, and pulp mixes with drug at the same time. Mineral sticks on bubble completely and floats on the surface of pulp to form mineralized bubble. Useful bubble is scraped out by adjusting flashboard height and controlling liquid surfac.
4. Working Principle of flotation machine
When flotation machine is working, the pulp in the cell is breathed from the surrounding in the between of impellers. At the same time, the low pressure air blew by air blower enters in though air distributor too. Pulp and air mixture totally, and then enter into the cell from the impeller. When bubbles rises foam stability region, they are collected together and flow out into bubble cell. Some other pulp flows towards the bottom of impeller, and is mixed by impeller with air again to form mineral laden bubbles. The rest will flow towards next cell until leaving tailings.
